By accessing this website or using POTG, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use the service for a merchant or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation. Commercial proposals, order forms, programme rules or service agreements agreed with Ampcell may contain additional terms; those specific terms will apply where they differ from this general page.
Website use
You may use this website to learn about Ampcell, POTG and Pentagon, and to contact us about our products and services. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, misuse its forms, or use its content in an unlawful or misleading way.
Authorised use of POTG
POTG is provided for authorised business and point-of-sale operations. Users must only access merchants, stores, data and POS devices assigned to them. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, signing out from unattended devices and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.
Ampcell and AmpersandPay
POTG is owned and developed by Ampcell Sdn. Bhd. AmpersandPay is an authorised reseller of POTG and Ampcell’s payment gateway partner for supported payment services. If a merchant purchases POTG through AmpersandPay or enables an AmpersandPay payment service, the relevant quotation, order, merchant onboarding requirements and payment-service terms may also apply. Payment acceptance remains subject to merchant eligibility, approval, configuration and service availability.
Transaction accuracy and payments
The merchant and its authorised users must verify products, prices, discounts, taxes, payment amounts and transaction status before completing an order or supplying goods or services. Cash and externally processed payments may be recorded by POTG, but that record does not itself prove settlement. Integrated payment services, including services provided through AmpersandPay, may be governed by separate merchant and payment-service terms.
Service availability
Some functions depend on internet connectivity, supported devices, configured backend services and third-party payment or communications services. Offline availability varies by payment method and operation. We may maintain, improve or change features over time and will use reasonable efforts to minimise material disruption.
Intellectual property
The Ampcell name, POTG, Pentagon, website, software, interfaces, designs and original materials belong to Ampcell or their respective licensors. Appointment as a reseller or payment gateway partner does not transfer ownership of POTG to AmpersandPay. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or commercially exploit them except where permitted by law or a written agreement with us.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of information entered into the service, the products and services you sell, your tax and record-keeping obligations, and how authorised users operate the system. Nothing on this website is accounting, tax or legal advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ampcell is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised use, incorrect merchant input, unsupported equipment, connectivity failure or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms when our website, services or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
